Full-scale outdoor event production for the annual celebration of the liberation of Jabrayil city — concert stage, tensile dome pavilions, VIP hospitality zones, exhibition areas, and complete AV infrastructure, built from scratch in the heart of Azerbaijan's liberated territories.
Jabrayil City Day (Cəbrayıl Şəhəri Günü) is one of Azerbaijan's most significant annual national events, commemorating the liberation of Jabrayil on October 4, 2020, during the 44-Day Patriotic War. The 2024 celebration was held directly in the rebuilding city of Jabrayil — a powerful symbol of Azerbaijan's restoration of its liberated territories. GM Events was tasked with delivering a complete, multi-zone outdoor event in one of the most logistically challenging locations in the country: a city undergoing active reconstruction, approximately 350 km from Baku, on terrain with no permanent event infrastructure. The project required concert-grade staging, premium VIP pavilions, mass seating, exhibition zones, full AV and lighting systems, on-site sanitation, and a comprehensive site masterplan — all delivered, assembled, and operated in a remote location under tight timelines.
Event site in the heart of Jabrayil district — approximately 350 km from Baku, requiring complete logistics planning for equipment transport across the country.
No permanent event facilities — the entire venue was constructed from scratch on leveled ground in the rebuilding city, including all power, AV, staging, and site services.
A high-profile national commemorative event attended by government officials, military personnel, media, and citizens — demanding flawless execution and broadcast-quality production.
Complex site layout integrating concert stage, VIP pavilion, exhibition domes, seating for 800+, sanitation facilities, and security perimeter — all from a 3D-designed masterplan.
Before a single structure was erected, the entire event compound was designed in 3D — mapping every dome, tent, stage, and pathway to optimize flow, sightlines, and logistics on the remote Jabrayil site.
Large tensile arch domes, marquee tents, and smaller pod structures distributed across the compound for concerts, exhibitions, VIP reception, and services.
Green grass strips, planted trees, potted evergreens, and decorative planters softened the arid terrain and created a welcoming atmosphere in the rebuilt city.
Full compound fencing with controlled entry points, metal barriers, and crowd management zones ensuring safety for all attendees and VIP guests.
End-to-end event production — from 3D site planning and 350 km equipment transport to on-site build, live operations, and complete teardown in a remote liberated territory.
Professional large-format outdoor concert stage with solid proscenium arch, LED screen backdrop displaying event imagery, full orchestra setup with grand piano, professional truss-mounted lighting rigs, line array PA speakers, floor monitors, and traditional Azerbaijani ornamental design elements on the wings.
Multiple premium white tensile arch dome structures of varying sizes — large multi-arch VIP pavilion with elegant flowing fabric canopy, exhibition domes with photo displays, and smaller hospitality pods throughout the site.
LED wall on main stage, professional PA sound system for outdoor coverage, broadcast-quality cameras on elevated platforms, stage lighting with moving heads and washes, and power distribution for the entire compound.
Over 800 black folding chairs arranged in organized audience blocks facing the main stage, with additional seating areas near secondary presentation zones and exhibition pavilions.
Complete event branding — "Cəbrayıl Şəhəri Günü" branded stage proscenium with traditional carpet-pattern ornaments, LED screen graphics, feather banner flags, and wayfinding signage across the venue.
Premium multi-arch tensile canopy with elevated platform for government officials and dignitaries, formal standing/ceremony setup, professional lighting, potted evergreen trees, and dedicated stairs with handrails — hosting senior officials during the commemorative proceedings.
Exhibition dome pavilions with photographic displays, traditional Azerbaijani carpet exhibitions, live art workshops with professional artists creating paintings on-site, and decorative painted arch installations — a rich cultural programme alongside the main ceremony.
Complete 350 km equipment transport from Baku, on-site generator power, portable WC sanitation units, crowd-control barriers, perimeter fencing, landscaping with planted trees and greenery, and full teardown operations.
Complete 3D masterplan design of the event compound — zone mapping, structural placement, crowd flow optimization, sightline analysis, and logistics planning for a greenfield site 350 km from Baku.
Full equipment convoy — stage components, dome structures, chairs, barriers, generators, AV gear, lighting, portable WCs, landscaping materials — transported 350 km from Baku to Jabrayil district.
Multi-day build phase — erecting the main concert stage with proscenium, assembling 6+ dome and tent structures, installing 800+ chairs, building the VIP pavilion, deploying AV/lighting systems, and laying landscaping.
Full crew deployment for the October 4th celebration — stage management, AV mixing, broadcast camera operation, lighting control, crowd management, VIP hosting, and security coordination.
Complete dismantling of all temporary structures, equipment packing, site restoration, and full convoy return to Baku — leaving the Jabrayil site in original condition.
Single point of contact managing the entire project lifecycle — vendor coordination, government liaison, timeline management, risk planning for remote operations, and on-site operations command.
From national celebrations and government ceremonies to outdoor festivals and public events — GM Events delivers complete venue infrastructure anywhere in Azerbaijan, including remote and liberated territories. 350 km from Baku? No problem.
